Rules

Rules of the Tournament:

1. Have fun.
2. Smile, or else!
3. Maximum score on any hole is eight.
4. Hitting a ball out of bounds: player incurs a one-stroke penalty.
Ball should be replaced nearest the point it left the playing boundary,
with an allowance for one club head's distance from the barrier, no closer
to the hole. If the ball is hit out of bounds from the tee box, the ball
must be replaced in the tee box; a one-stroke penalty will be incurred.
5. Relief from obstructions to a player's stroke: the player may adjust
the lie of the ball equivalent to one club head's distance from the
obstruction, no closer to the hole.
6. Hitting a ball into a hazard will be considered the same as hitting
the ball out of bounds. See rule #4.
7. If a player interferes with another player's ball, that player may
replace their ball to its original lie with no penalty.
8. At the conclusion of play for each day, each player must submit his or
her initialed score sheet to the Tournament Director. Each player must
sign the score sheet at the end of the tournament to verify that their
score is accurately reported.
9. In the event of a conflict during play, decision of the Tournament
Director will be final.

Pin Prizes:
There will be four pin prizes awarded for each day's play, one for each
hole. Pin prizes will include: closest to the hole on the first shot,
farthest from the hole on the first shot, lowest score for a hole, and
highest score for a hole. In the event of a tie for any pin prize, the
Tournament Director will perform a random drawing. All awards will be
presented at the end of the tournament.
